How many notebooks does it hold? Four notebooks sit in the elastic loops and two more slip into the side pockets, giving you six straight away. Add extra elastics, sold separately, and take that comfortably to eight.

What size notebooks fit? Any standard A5 notebook up to 225 x 160mm, including all Rock Paper Studio notebooks. Saddle-stitch and standard notebooks work best in the elastic loops.

Will my phone fit in the side pockets? Yes, the side pockets are generous enough to fit most standard smartphones alongside notebooks, cards and loose pages.

What is the elastic closure like? A single elastic runs across the exterior and is colour-matched to the folio. Silver hardware at the threading points adds a modern finishing touch. It keeps everything secure and closed without a clasp, button or zip. Clean, simple and easy to open with one hand.

Can I add a charm? Yes. Charms thread directly onto the exterior elastic and add a personal touch that makes the folio instantly yours. The silver hardware gives the Essential Folio a modern feel that works beautifully with both silver and gold charms. If you prefer not to mix metals, silver charms are the safer choice, particularly as they sit directly alongside the hardware on the side of the folio. Charms are available separately in our shop.

Does it come with notebooks? No, notebooks are sold separately or in bundles. The Essential Folio arrives in a branded calico drawstring bag.
